installation error wdsutil dll not valid

Installation error - wdsutil.dll not valid

Hi there, I have downloaded the iso and burnt it at low speed to a DVD+r Media. I receive the above error when attempting to upgrade XP SP2. When attempting to perform a clean install the installation fails after the Product Key is entered, there is no error message in this case however, it simply hangs and cannot be recovered. To test I also tried to install on my laptop, same issue. So I have re-downloaded the 3gig iso but the same issue is happening. A search of the interent reveals people are resolving this by writing batch files to rename files contained in the ISO but surely this is not required???

Hello Same problem : "wdsutil.dll could not be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error Code is 126". Have you a solution ? Thanks !
